I have a 1 year old jack russell, and recently her eyes have become red and slightly swollen,along with redness on her mouth. It only really occurs in summer, and keeping her indoors is a not very fair, being a jack russell an all. Has anyone else experienced this with their dog? what are the best methods to treat this?

Try children's benadryl but only use half a tablet. It works wonders. If this doesn't help I would recommend going to your local vet and discuss it with him. He might recommend an allergy test, but just to warn you they are slightly expensive. Permalink:
